Towards the end of my second course, I realized that it does not make sense to fire and glaze everything for several reasons.
Firing + glazing makes the piece un-recyclable and thus, unsustainable for something that I do not love
As I improve my pottery, I become more picky about the pieces that I want to gift my friends
Glazing is not super cheap, especially if you produce multiple pieces a day
My tiny NYC apartment is too small to hold all these items
Therefore, this gallery is my little graveyard of pieces that while I was proud of for some reason or another, did not make the cut and have been returned to clay form.
